English in the Afternoon continues

The current course on English Drama before Shakespeare ends this week. At its peak, 19 people attended. It has been agreed that another course will run after Christmas. It will be on Late Elizabethan Drama. The exact starting date and details of the content will be advertised in the Central Library after Christmas, but it will certainly cover Shakespeare's Tempest and Marlowe's Dr. Faustus. In the case of The Tempest it is the playwright rather than the play that is 'late Elizabethan'.
