Poetry in all directions!

With half the course on The Faerie Queene gone and the second run of the Fourteenth-century verse romances on the horizon, plans to follow this with 6 weeks on Milton's Paradise Lost are underway.

It also became clear that there was more interest in poetry as a reading group topic, than could be accommodated in the current monthly Poetry Reading Group when we had all 15 members at one session. So I will be launching a second Poetry Reading Group on May 5th. It will meet on the first Thursday afternoon of each month from 2.15-3.45, rather shorter than the Saturday meeting.

Some interest has already been expressed, and the new group is open to anyone with an interest in reading and discussing poetry.

The Saturday group is now closed to new members.
