14th century Romances

We have now completed sessions on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, and one session on Sir Orfeo during this repeated course. We will be starting 2 sessions on our local hero Bevis of Hampton on 19th May. This unusual medieval adventure story is not widely available in print but can be accessed via http://www.lib.rochester.edu/camelot/teams/bevisint.htm

A summary of the story accompanies the Middle English text.
